The Trees & The Winds

Twisting, Turning, Swirling, Curling...Fluttering!
The Winds...Cut Through The Leaves Of Trees
And This Is How The Elder Statesmen Of Earth Are Given Voice
Shhhhoooooflutt-t-t-ter
And The Winds Are The Music Of The Trees Too
For All Life Loves To Dance
So Under Those Racing Winds The Trees Sway
They Know Of The Blues
They Know Of Jazz
They Know Of Rock
They Are...Classical
For The Are The Original...Elder Statesmen
From Beginning Through To The End
The Trees & The Winds
They Are My Friends

Twisting, Turning, Swirling, Curling...Zooming!
The Winds...They Love Tunnelling
So They Race Between Our Concrete Erections
Never Slowing, Despite Jolting The Steps Of The Strollers About
And At This The Trees Laugh
Shhhhoooooflutt-t-t-ter
They Know Of Pranks
And They Know Of Farce
And They Know Of Tomfoolery
They Are...Classical
For They Are The Original...Elder Statesmen
From The Beginning Through To The End
The Trees & The Winds
They Are My Friends

The Word On The Word:
- This is a bit fantastical but I was up late one night at the window listening to the wind pur through the tree leaves & it made me think of how I love a late stroll when accompanied by a breeze & that sound. This poem is a form of appreciation of that in written form
